sorry about that, please dont take any offense. I'll agree that it is more Renaissance than Medieval or ancient.
Don't assume that we all view the same number of posts per page as you do. According to my settings this thread is barely halfway through its first page! I have a fast enough connection that it makes sense to view a larger number of threads per page and so may he.
I'm nearly 30,but I'm still learning about numismatics, even about subjects not in my area of interest, all the time.We don't ever stop learning,no matter whether we are 10 or 85.We are all learners in this world. We all make mistakes,as this is part of human nature. Aidan.
Im a young numatist(16), I belong to TNA (Texas Numismatic Association) and I am thinking of joining ANA this year. I caught the bug early back when I was 8 I found some indian head pennys in a drawer and decided that I had to go out and buy 2x2's for them and catalouge them and everything (I still have them in my collection in the original 2x2's with my horrible 8 year old hand writting) and that sort of set me off. Now Ive decided that Im going to start making an actual collection instead of just collecting whatever seems nice at the time so I am pretty sure this is going to be a lifelong affiar with me.
i was a YN, but i need to renew (15) and i collect coins both historically and whatever looks good at the time ($50 buffalo)
Thalia is just six, but she doesn't really post here. She is a member of the local juniors' club - the youngest member there and one of the few girls.
You don't have to join anything to be a Young Numismatic.....most clubs have Jr. members and the age is up to 18....so I guess you could say that if you are under the age of 18 you are a Young Numismatic.... Speedy
im 13 and im thinking of doing the YN thing do you know if those like fake auction money can actully get you ok coins?
Read the posts above----most of the time it is used when talking about a Coin Collector under the age of 18 or 21. Speedy
