I agree with you Ruben. Again it's the old standby rule, judge and buy the coin not the package it comes with. $850.00
is over twice the highest price it should go for. And what you and others have pointed out there is enough doubt in the
MS-67 and Full Bands(???) to beware of way overpricing for this Merc 1936-S.

One of the great resources of Cointalk is the ability to crowd source things like this. In my mind, you would have to be nuts to make any major coin purchase without getting a broad opinion from trusted people here on cointalk. Even if you decide to go against the consensus, at least you have fleshed out all the issues and your understanding the issues in front of you.
