I have some bills coming back from PMG but am curious if these 3 bills could receive some special designation because of the serial numbers.
No. I’m guessing the grading fees exceed the value of the notes. I’m wondering why they were submitted.
There is nothing special about those serial numbers. They are in the wrong order to be of any significance. Just because they have the same numbers doesn’t make them special. IE 09933099 should be 09933990 41722741 should be 41722714 08101080 should be 08100180 That would make them special.
While I suppose some TPG will include information on request (for $$), currency serial numbers are simply listed in the notations to identify the note.
PMG will add other designations free for different number runs if requested but wasn't sure if any of those 3 would qualify for an extra designation. Ladder, Binary, Million, Radar, Repeater, 1-10, Solid, Rotator, Combinations, Super Pedigrees.
I’m not sure you understand @keemao. The serial numbers on the notes you posted are interesting at best. They’re not fancy, nor do they merit any special designation.
Did you not read my post above? I gave you examples, using the same serial number that would make them fancy but they are only interesting at best.
As SteveInTampa indicated, the serial numbers aren't very "special" -- Do you really want to spend money to have then re-graded? I think you have already exceeded the value of the notes by having them graded.
I get fresh gem sequential notes from McDonalds every Friday morning as there Bank truck comes in on Thursday from time to time I do get some odd years but nothing to write home about…LOL
