OP: Instead of just ridiculing you like unfortunately everyone else that has responded (or just unhelpfully saying to spend), I will educate you, since we are an "educational forum". A radar is a note where you can read the S/N frontwards and backwards and it is the same number. An example: 47044074. Either way, it read out as the same number, if you read it from right to left or left to right. A ladder is a note that the numbers go up or down in consecutive order in the serial number. An example would be 12345678 or 234567890 or something similar to this. As someone else has stated the obvious, you have half of each. What you actually have is none other than a trinary, which few people actually collect, and they usually don't carry any premiums. A trinary is a S/N that is made up of the same 3 digits. Similarly, a binary is the same thing, but just made up of 2 digits, and highly more desirable than a trinary. I would guess most collect binaries. Here is everything you could ever want to know about fancy S/N's:

http://reviews.ebay.com/Fancy-Bank-Notes-10-Most-Common-Categories?ugid=10000000001758931

Enjoy!

Rest of responders: Not trying to be rude at all, but I will admit that I was a bit dissapointed to see that no one offered an educational link or some educational info, or any facts to back up your responses. I was once in this person's shoes, not knowing everything there is to know about paper money, and I remember what it's like. It sucks. Just a few sentences can save someone from being misinformed, and from further posting posts like this that are incorrect. As a group of weirdos, where most people think we're insane for collecting what we collect, we have to stick together!
