    Kirkuleez 80 proof

One of my vendors in Mexico gave me this when I visited them a couple of months ago. Does anyone know anything about this, does it contain any precious metals, is this a mint made product or a private mint? Any info would be appreciated. image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg

That's the long calendar that had the end of the world happening just over 2 years ago on 12/21/13.

Kirkuleez, I would say that the medal you have was struck at the casa de moneda, but for a private firm, so not a legal tender, but still very neat.

For an authoritative opinion, I would email http://donbailey-mexico.com/pr-070308b.shtml

    from the link provided

It says "Chichen Itza, Marvel of the World, Yucatan, Mexico. It does seem to have the official Mexican mintmark but it isn't a coin. It's neat. I wonder if they were sold near the pyramid?
