    J69, I do not know your level of photography, so my suggestion may not be needed. When color becomes a part of the question, it is best to photograph the coin on a known color. One, so we can adjust the photo on our screen if we wish until the color of our backgrounds match, this is called color balance, and some cameras use the largest area of color to determine the overall color scheme. Walmart or Home Depot stores that sell paint will have a selection of small cards of sample colors.Two, Best is a light neutral gray. Full white or black is also useful. Jim
