Hello everyone! I will be traveling to Bangkok Thailand at some point. I would like to find some reputable coin shops to visit while I'm down there. I plan on bringing a couple US coins with me to trade if anyone is interested. Are there any collector friends down there to offer any tips on places to go see? Coins that I should look for? Would love some tips. Thanks in advance!
Enjoy Thailand. I've had several friends who have been and said it was beautiful. As for coins, most of what I have seen posted about Thailand is that it is rife with counterfeits.
@Bambam8778 If you end up going and enjoy it, let me know when your going up again, perhaps can meet up one day! I usually go to thailand twice a year as my girlfriend lives there. 2 best places for coins: JJ market and a large building outside of JJ market called DD Mall . Next one : SC Plaza You will need to google these places and show them to taxi drivers. Communication can be difficult as some thai do not speak good english. Unless you have a friend or whatnot that speak fluent thai, you may have some difficulty.
