There is misinformation also. Much of the "good" information concerning methods and chemicals is not known by the general public. It is of a proprietary nature as companies such as NCS charge for the service. Most of us who dip coins are basically self-taught. I'll bet some of us even have a little training by professional conservation specialists under their belt!</p><p><br /></p><p>The proper (cleaning) conservation of coins can be learned with research and much trial and error.
