No.. Because it is not a Mint Error
The first 0 has a Plating Issue.. probably a bubble which is very common on Copper Plated Zinc Cents. This would make it appear as if it reads 2900 but it did not occur at the US Mint that way.

If he holds on to it for another 882 years then I'm sure it could maybe be sold as an error coin.

Well, that explains what happened to my lucky penny. I thought I had lost it in the time machine.
