ya i asked some of those questions and was told it's a general term for basically struck through miscellaneous and that there's all types of effects
possibly the back side doesn't look like the front i guess that's one of main reasons i was told but i have not sent it in yet so nothings for sure as others said it could be well done paint or something but either way i learned about struck through cloth or miscellaneous and guess i may have a few more
i just asked some online sites umm checking emails golddealer i don't know what it is and that's the answer i got i need to just send it to get looked at lol I looked it up and I seen some maybe similar but nothing that made me like oh ya that's it like I said huh
K SO I KNOW ALOT OF YOU KNOW YOUR COINS GOT A FEW MORE I NEED RESPONSES AND ANY RESPONSE GOOD BAD I'M APPRECIATIVE!!
Thank you all of you for any and all input i know little about coins compared to most of you so THANKS
Before you spend money sending your coins in to be checked out, try putting some acetone on one of them. This won't affect the metal, but it will dissolve paint, if that is what is on the coin. Nail polish remover is mostly acetone so it will work as well.
Excellent advice. It would be a shame to spend all kinds of money on having coins evaluated and/or graded only to find out that they are in fact worth little or nothing.
