I do enjoy family sets of coins, Emperor / wifes / kids...I guess many are somewhat related to each other anyway... Recently I acquired the Mother of Emperor Claudius "Antonia Minor"(36BC.- 37AD.) daughter of Mark Antony and Octavia Minor! Had it not been for this gal, much of Roman history would need to be rewritten: In 16 BC, she married the Roman general and consul Nero Claudius Drusus. Drusus was the stepson of her uncle Augustus, second son to Livia Drusilla and brother to future Emperor Tiberius. They had several children, but only three survived (imagine if more had lived)...? Their children were the famous general Germanicus, Livilla and the Roman Emperor Claudius. Antonia was grandmother to Emperor Caligula, Empress Agrippina the Younger and great-grandmother and great-aunt to Emperor Nero. Anyone else have coins to share of this very prominent yet fairly unknown Augusta?
