I opened another package that I bought in 2015 or longer ago. I was pleasantly surprised to see a number of silver dollars, both Morgan’s and Peace ones. These two stood out the best. This is a 1926 one. Not bad but my LCS doesn’t have nice ones with slightly lower mintages on them like this one. Just under 2 million minted and a lot less surviving today.
Here’s the other one as my phone won’t let me post in the opening post. You won’t find this one in the junk pile either. It’s a 1935 Philadelphia issue with only 1,576.000 originally issued. It’s also the last year of issue for the Peace Dollars. I paid less than $20 for each silver dollar at the time. I can’t buy a junk silver dollar for under $33.00 at the current time.
