Hi all. Haven't been on here in awhile. Just a refresher on my old poot social security income coin collecting. I can't afford to buy high dollar coins but I do enjoy the 40%, 90% silver coins. New and old. Not crying, just saying. Added a pretty little 40% silver Eisenhower Dollar to the hoard today. Just thought I would see what you thought about it. $27.00 shipped. You won't hurt my feelings. LOL

We can't all afford high-$ coins.

I do subscribe to the "buy the best you can afford" motto.

Ain't a thing wrong with that one!

(Well, aside from the fact that we got two reverse pics and no obverse.) ;)

Couldn't get the obverse to paste for some reason. Another senior moment. Gonna try something else now and see if that helps.

Super buy. In this one time I would buy the coin slab for the label to add to my Ike collection.

Great looking Ike, and the perfect label for the slab.

I don't grade from pictures, but, I detect multi toning pastels, and on that basis, my opinion is this is an outstanding example. For $27 shipped, I would not have even considered the opinion of others. I would have purchased multiples or at least one more, considering stingy SS payouts these days.

Just goes to show that even on a fixed income you can find a positive coin within your budget. You did very well, thanks for sharing. Good luck.

Great looking coin. I noticed something just left of the bell post and right of the ite in United. My eyes aren't that good but to me it looks like a shadow of earth. Maybe I have been looking at my 1972 ike to long. The price is also a plus. Regards.

Not my cup of tea. I collect coins from the 18th Century to date. I just couldn't get into coins from the Greek and Roman eras.

The Ike series is under appreciated and overlooked. Thats plays into a budget minded collectors' hand. Take advantage of it. Don't ever apologize for what you collect. Not only do I happen to like the series, I admire individuals who live within their means. I think that says a lot about a persons character and integrity.
