Well here's another old copper coin that I've been trying to figure out but with no luck at all. it's 21mm in diameter at the widest point. I keep thinking it's double struck or struck over something else or counter struck, but who knows? Anyway here's a project for all you coin detectives. Have fun. Mike
Russian copper Polushka, which is a 1/4 kopeck. From year 173something. It seems there is a mint error, which is not a very rare thing with coins from this period. Obverse-reverse second strike in collar? Not sure how it is called, not an error fan. Here is a similar error And this is how it should look without mint issues
