[QUOTE="Mikey Zee, post: 2275641, member: 72818"]Although I passed on this coin a few days ago, last night it suddenly seemed like a decent buy at about half of the original asking price---- and a counter-offer of just slightly above that 'seemed' reasonable so I clicked 'agree' before giving it much further thought.....the pluses negating the negatives to my 'late night Greg' frame of mind. Of course, I now wonder if it was even worth the price I paid despite being only the second fourree I own and depicting a rather scarce Empress portrait---- that distracting hole is impossible to ignore---let alone the characteristic 'damaged' condition of virtually all fourree's. I may have to ask TIF for help imagining how that hole got there in the first place, adding any positive attribute to this coin I possibly can LOL BTW, the seller is a well-known and respected e-Bay vendor. Fourree Denarius of Domitia, Rome Mint Draped bust right, standing peacock right RIC II 151 (Domitian) RSC 2 As always, please feel free to post any coin(s) you believe are any way related.
