I was searching MA-Shops and stumbled across this worn but nicely toned penny of Henry V. Yes, I know I already have one but the price was right. This coin was under 30.00 before shipping so I had to have it. (Yes, these mediaeval coins are addictive) The listing did not provide an attribution so I will have to work on that when I receive it. Please post your mediaeval coins. I would love to see them.
Thanks Mat.They do appear at auction on CNG and other sites, but there is usually quite a lot of competition for them.
Cool coin @Orfew !! I'm afraid all of my former medievals are now in someone else's collection....among all my moderns and half of my former ancients
Unfortunetly I dont have a Henry V to share but I have a rare variation of Edward Longshanks of Braveheart fame.
Awesome coin, Orfew! If you insist... I left out the cut coins, and I still haven't attributed and photographed the Genoese/Caffa coins...

Those are wonderful Mat. I must say I am partial to the Alfonso. I am not used to seeing profiles on mediaeval coins.
