Another Help to Identify Thread!

    Hello- I'm guessing Middle East, and I'm thinking it could be a medallion or token instead of currency. Other world coins in this collection dated from late 1700's to around 1950. I did the Google Image match with the photo and got similar symbols, which I find most fascinating. Any ideas would be appreciated, and I am most interested in country of origin. If needed I could include the flip side.

    What does the other side look like?

    PS - It ALWAYS helps to have pictures of both sides...

    It looks like an Arabic jetton from Tunisia or Morocco.

    Probably an Arabic dance costume imitation "coin".

    These are common silver washed novelty pieces with designs based on Ottoman era Algerian coins.
