Another GTG-1880-S Morgan

    Reverse pics aren't the greatest. It's in an NGC holder. The vertical lines on the reverse are from polishing the slab.

    Easily a 65, if in the old style soap bar holder then a 64 wouldnt surprise me either...
    Nice coin btw! I just love `80s morgans!
    This would hafta be my favorite date and i wish they all could be california coins!

    Hmm - obverse made me thing 65, reverse made me think 64. But I am going to go with 65 - looks really nice.

    It looks like a 66 to me. Very clean cheek. The chatter on the left side of the eagle might 65 it though. Nice coin.

    Thanks for the compliments guys. The chatter on the reverse isn't as bad as the pictures make it out to be. In my opinion it is close to PL but just not there. Toners always give a hard time, sometimes it's hard to tell if it's chatter/hits or just weird breaks in the toning that catch the light just right.

    Anyway it graded MS66
