Just opened the mail today, and this Jefferson 1948D was in the collection immediately. I absolutely love the toning—it is uniformly Golden Honey colored on the obverse and reverse. The color is similar to the 1939S I posted earlier in this week that was MS 66*. This one did not get the star, even though it has more intense Golden toning, and it is far more coverage. Oh well, love it all the same.

Another great looking GTG coin. Put me down for MS-66 5 FS. Beautiful golden brown toning.

I think there may be a 5 degree slight die rotation. It could also be the angle of the coin seated in the slab. I took iPhone pictures, quickly. It could be the angle of the photo. I am not positive.
