When I got a notice from EBay that a coin on my watch list had been relisted - and it was something I hadn't been watching - I forwarded it to spoof@ebay.com, thinking it was some kind of phishing expedition.

Doesn't their reply, received a day or so later, make you feel more comfortable about their system integrity?

Thanks for the posting, I have been getting these, and I always wondered why.
    Another mystery is cleared up.

Same here... for a briefcase of all things. I was thinking it was a phishing and/or spam thing as well. Checked the IP and it came form a reserved IP (in theory, these IPs are reserved and not in use, at least not by places such as eBay mail servers).
