But that not a rule violation, just your opinion. Read more: http://www.cointalk.com/t34131/#ixzz10ylmGY6H
Firstly, you used the words "violated" and "violation" not me. I never said anyone violated a rule... go back and Read more yourself. Since you are obviously having difficulty comprehending my initial post, which offered the OP and others advice of where to obtain help with their eBay/PayPal/USPS problems, I will continue to try and help you understand. That you like better your off-topic banter about the CT Rules that I can see no other reason for than you find the truth of the options I gave uncomfortable and direct, I will still attempt to help you. Even though you enjoy reading more into something than there was to begin with and appear to enjoy having you hand held in your state of confusion given the situation you are trying to create out of the unease you felt by my astute and succinct initial and successive posts to this thread, I shall attempt to illuminate for you the line of copy in the Rules, which you yourself tried to invoke, Rules which I am well aware of, and am in no need of your direction towards them-- in your weak attempt to instruct me suddenly, after you previously criticized me for doing the very same to the thread, but are now doing yourself... I will try to help you. I remind you that this thread was not initiated for, nor had it any premise thus far, to chat about coins. It was nothing more than someone's rant/venting about a problem they encountered and perhaps blamed eBay or technology for their own frustration and misunderstanding, without doing enough to rectify the problem themselves by contacting the service provider directly. In the end the OP did nothing to fix the problem and went straight to the carrier to handle the shipping issue. For some reason, scads of folks feel the urge to rant, complain and inquire about eBay in coin forums, on CT and do everything but talk numismatics when the problem they rail on about is a service issue better handled by that service provider's customer service. Just because this is the only forum one may use does not make it the right forum for this. Just because one collects coins or sell coins on eBay and may ship them with carriers they may encounter problems with, does not make this forum the go to place for customer support. This thread is not unique in this regard, nor is your challenging me. People like yourself just don't seem to get the point that this has nothing to do with CT and numismatics but trip on the rules after being pointed to the best advice available and clearly overlooked. I have attempted to help you as freely, clearly and fairly as I expressed my first post in this thread for the OP and others' issues. I can't help you further if you can't figure this out on your own.
I can see posting it here for one reason only, and that is because many of us do sell on eBay and it can be a warning to watch for this problem. But it should have been posted as more of an FYI for coin sellers than a rant.
