Another Daniel Carr token for me

SO, I don't think there is any controversy with the date--1914 Liberty Nickel as a fantasy token? Well, I ordered mine today, and will be glad to get it. Seller's picture, not mine.

There's always controversy when you copy a US coin , nonexistent date or not .

 

Of course there is! When someone has to borrow someone else's design to make money, it sucks!

I actually finally bit the bullet on that one today. I'm not a nickel collector, but I do love the Barber design, and to have that in a cameo proof, well I had to go for it. Will have to send it off to ANACS after it comes in.

 

It's a shame it's not a no "CENTS", but I'll get one any how

As much as I dislike his copies , I wouldn't wish lung cancer on anyone after watching my late wife go through chemo and radiation . The cure is as bad as the disease .

The guy is talented and should focus all of his energy on his original work, not copying the work of others. Sad. The majority of his income probably comes from copying the work of others so that is why he probably does it. If people didn't buy the stuff, he probably wouldn't waste his time doing it.

 

Don't let this turn into another one of those threads. It ALWAYS does. LOL. Either you like his work, or ya don't.
