Here is one of those cents (I posted the other one just a moment ago).</p><p><br /></p><p>This cent has an indentation on the 6th memorial column from the left (i.e. the column directly to the left of Lincoln&#039;s statue). That little indentation immediately made me think of a strike through. The texture of it sort of mirrored other strike throughs I&#039;ve seen, and it has the same depth of browning as the rest of the columns (which made me think that it was not damaged since it has toned the same as undamaged parts of the coin). Not sure how reliable that is, though. I can tell I am a little out of practice when I think there are strike throughs on both sides of the coin, lol. That line made me think of a struck-through wire. It is rather shallow.
