First 2 kings of Macedonia, father and son: These 2 denarii completed my 12 (18) Caesar silver set : This Vitellius completed my 12 (18) Caesar set in bronze: I like the SC coins of Antioch ,I picked this up for a song: another steal: I like this mean green eagle: This Maxentius completed my small tetrarchy collection: My favourite lot which I will keep together: My personal favourite is the Vitellius , if you like another one, please tell.
Nice selection. My favourite is the Vitellius bronze, with the pleasantly rubbed high spots and colouration.
I'll vote for the veiled Constantine types. You have some nice examples there. I have two of them but they are not as nice as yours.
Very nice additions @Andres2! And congratz on finishing the sets. Do you have a digital plate of the sets? I vote for either the JC, or the Constantine lot. Cant decide!
Very impressive on completing both bronze and silver Caesars. The Maxentius is my pick. Thanks for sharing!!
I like them all but I will differ from the pack and say that the Ptolemy III is superb! Great strike, beautiful eagle, and the patina is gorgeous! I don't have a Ptolemy, or any Egyptian kings yet but I would love to add a nice hefty tetrobol like that to my collection. The rest of your coins are great as well! Thanks for sharing!
Completing not one, but two 12 Caesars sets this year! That's what I call a good year. I love that JC portrait.
12 Caesars in Bronze and Silver! Sounds like an excellent year. The Vitellius is a great one - I am also a fan of the 5 Divus Constantinus set. Best wishes for 2020.
Man alive! You did well in 2019, completing those sets as well. The JC and Vitellius are exceptional. Let you in on a secret....I have yet to complete anything with coins, then again, I could not even get my Fall cleanup work done, since Winter arrived a month early John
