The spread is too small. I make about 1/3rd of my income from buying/ selling silver, if I did it at a dealer id lose money not gain. Buying privately from online/ estate sales/ flea markets/ craigslist/ and garage sales, then reselling the stuff online is the best way I have found to make a profit.
