Hmmm? ... good question, icerain ... Ummm, I'm never 100% confident in any of my non-work answers, so take my comments/opinions with a grain of salt and go look it up yourself (quoting stevex6 in a trivia contest will probably cost you a fair bit o' cash!!?) .......... anyway, I'm betting that salmon weren't found naturally in the waters around Italy and Greece? ... I merely have a couple of wiki-quotes to go on => so again, please do not bet heavily on my hypothesis!! ...

NOTE => I'm fairly sure that there aren't any salmon in the Mediterranean Sea ... ummm, so you're probably correct => "tunny-fish" may be the fish of choice on our sweet ancient Greek coins?!!
