HAPPY BIRTHDAY STEVEX! on the wagon during your BD...man, that's harsh. if my birthday were today i'd be in the same boat, 0 money to spend on coins right now. here are some animal coins i haven't posted for a while ..... and since it's your birthday i'll throw in a princess leia...
I always wanted to be attracted to Princess Leia, but she looks too much like my sister. You know how that is...
Too many Ptolemies for me not to toss one up... My newest. It has a few issues but is still nice to look at.
Happy Birthday little brother. Wow, 52 years old. I('ll bet there are some who would have bet you would never make it this far. BAM! Proved them wrong. Oh, since you like Princess Leia, just for you:
I'm not sure how you define issues, but this coin has no issues in my book. The mineral deposits are very eye-appealing, if that's what you mean. The strike and preservation are excellent. Also, it's got the curious and interesting quadruple dimples. It was placed incorrectly on the lathe, then re-centered. That's a pretty cool error.
In hand you can see - what I think are - light cleaning scratches. In this photo they're somewhat visible benching the eagle's left wing. Also I front of the nose o he obverse and below the neck...the encrustrations are fine and I like this one a lot.
