When is a Yes song better than a Yes song? When it's Jon Anderson + Todmobile + the Iceland Symphony Orchestra and choir covering a classic. Awaken was always a glorious showstopping epic piece of prog rock indulgence. With Todmobile and Symphony, it is utterly transcendent. I've never experienced more episodes of aesthetic chills in one song, although to be fair not many "songs" are seventeen minutes long :D. If you've not seen this, please devote seventeen minutes of your life to this video and you will be elevated :). There are so many climaxes in this piece that smoking a cigarette after listening would not be unreasonable :D. In particular, check out just after 14:00 (14:12 - 14:55). That climax just keeps going and going and going... when the choir joins in I can hardly stand it-- something akin to religious ecstasy. I've got my hands in the air, sweeping the heavens with every note.
