Apparently I'm in a more mellow mood today ... => here are a couple of oldies, but goodies ... => man, those are three pretty unique and awesome chick-voices (by the way, Natalie was the chick that sang for 10,000 Maniacs ... very cool voice)
yup => apparently after a few wine => I'm thrown directly back into my teen years ... and lovin' it!!
Holy smokes, I must have let my feminine-side take over for a couple o' days ... brrrrr!! ... anyway ... => I'm back!! Here are a couple of today's mood-tunes ...
wha? ... who? ... who, what, who?? => yah, some tunes are just so bad that they 'gotstabe' heard ... *word*
Been awhile since we've had a post on this cool thread, and this little colt from Akarnania wanted to come out and play, so...
Since you brought up Queen, here are some pictures I took at their concert a few nights ago in Dallas. Best seats I've ever had!! Minimal or no zoom, taken with phone camera. Adam Lambert assumed Freddie Mercury's role-- in grand style. That man can sing! Numismatic tie-in and Queen trivia: Brian May does not use guitar picks. He uses a six pence coin, sometimes using the reeded edge for effect. I was close enough to see the spare coins attached to his guitar strap. Not quite close enough to read the dates Brian May had a webcam on his guitar's headstock and occasionally it was fed to the giant screen behind the stage. During this song he turned it to the audience and by luck, this picture shows my mom
Congrats, you are the custodian of quite a bit of history in splendid condition! Best of luck in the future and HH....
Ahhhhhhhhh, the memories .... when I wasn't listening to Led Zep, there was a whole lot of these misc odd bands (good times)
Wow, I can't believe that nobody gave "Whiskey in the Jar" a "like" .... that song is full throttle, EPIC!! Actually, both Metallica and both Pearl Jam songs are Hall o' Fame worthy!!
