Proof you don't have to be a fortunate son to win the purple. Born with no silver spoon in his mouth and no fortune, probably drafted against is will into an auxiliary unit of barbarians to fight and die in the middle of nowhere for a cause he didn't care about, he nevertheless got to the top of imperial politics.
An even better match Trajan Decius, AD 249-251 AR Antoninianus, 22mm, 4.2g, 12h; Rome mint. Obv.: IMP C M Q TRAIANVS DECIVS AVG Radiate, draped, cuirassed bust right. Rev. DACIA Dacia, wearing long robes, standing left, holding vertical staff with ass’s head. Reference: RIC IVc 12b, p. 121 His reign was quick, full of blood and war, and ended up with a funeral for him and his son in the battlefield.
Ummm, I must have had a good time when this song was hot? (I have good feelings/memories when I hear it) ... man, that's what's so cool about tunes, eh? (they're like a fricken time-machine!!) ... oh, and worst video "ever"
Ummm, have I done this retro-song before? (I must be in a weird mood, for I'm fairly positive that none of your remember this song and/or liked it?!) ... but again, it's just one of those time-capsule tunes that takes me back 30 years Yah-yah, okay fine ... I'm goin' to bed
With a whopping collection of approx. 16 coins, my favorite is this one: Obverse is Claudius II Reverse is an eagle with CONSECRATO It's not big. It's not in the best condition. It's not valuable. I just love it because: It's so smooth. It's consistent with only two colors; black and green. It was an unidentifiable crusty mess when I got it. There's some kind of cylindrical impression behind the head. Anyone looking at this would know it's an ancient Roman coin. I can hold this thing in my hand and imagine that across an ocean over 1,700 years ago a person held this same coin and probably looked at it just as I am doing now. What was their life like? Who and what did they care about most? You get the idea. My poor cell phone pictures just don't do it justice. As for the song of the hour, it's one that no one on here will like but the back half from about 2:20 on is amazing. I suppose it's because it was done by two eleven-year-old girls.
confucius => on this particular thread you need to post a video of your favourite tune (song) as well Oh sorry => "welcome" ... that is a great coin
