Ancients => Julia Domna ... great coin, but sad story

    Also uncommon is the first obverse legend used ith the common (but unlisted in RIC) Alexandria mint reverse VENVS FELIX which is the only reverse used with the second obverse IVLIA AVGVSTA obverse at Alexandria.

    More unusual from Emesa is the common Venus type from rear but with the ledgend spelled out rather than VICTR. It also comes with both R's replaced with B's. Greek cutters had trouble with B and R. There are several coins showing one used for the other. Note these two share the obverse die.

    I don't know how many of any of these exist. I have not seen them.
