Okay… the specifics. Here is how to enter:<ol> <li>Be in possession of an ancient or medieval coin… any coin!</li> <li>Send me a PM or post below to this thread saying you would like to enter.  Once we have at least 16 players I will close the entry period, set up the bracket, and we will get started.</li> <li>Once we have our bracket set I will PM the participants asking for a photo of the coin you would like to enter for the first round.  Please also include the following information.<ul> <li>Attribution information, with description, date range etc.</li> <li>Price paid for the coin</li> <li>A “short” description on what makes the coin extra cool!</li> </ul></li> </ol>Here are the rules:<ul> <li>1)  1 coin per round, per participant.</li> <li>2) Coins can be from any region, culture or time period before AD 1500.</li> <li>3)  You must have acquired the coin you wish to play in either 2017 or 2018.</li> <li>4) I will make a separate thread with a poll for each head-to-head matchup.  Members will each have 3 votes in the poll and will issue a vote for which coin comes out on top in each of the following categories.<ul> <li>Eye Appeal</li> <li>Greatest Bargain!</li> <li>Historical or Numismatic Interest</li> </ul></li> </ul> <ul> <li>5) Polls will close after 3 days (unless noted otherwise) for each thread.  The participant with the highest cumulative number of votes will win the match and advance to the next round.</li> <li>6) Participants will be seeded alphabetically by CoinTalk username.</li> <li>7)  Winners in their round can choose to submit a new coin each round or continue to submit the coin from the previous round.</li> <li>8)  Be nice, it’s just a game meant for fun!</li> <li>9)  Have fun!</li> </ul>The winner will be granted a glorious Triumph, be able to call themselves the Coin Imperator for the whole of the next year and… …elect a charity to which I will donate $50!
