It was misidentified by the dealer actually, and the actual type is a bit scarcer than the original attribution would suggest(highlighting the importance of paying attention on your attributions). This is one of those bronzes that is so scarce in decent condition that even the RBW example was a fairly ugly one</p><p>[ATTACH=full]457596[/ATTACH]</p><p>Roman Republic Æ Triens(21mm, 7.29g), Valerius moneyer, 169-158 BC.
