Yah, I wasn't a "huge" Star Trek fan, but I certainly watched all of the original series many times while growing-up ... oh, and most of the other spin-off series as well (yah, I was certainly a fan, but I never attended any of the conventions and/or bought much of the merchandise) ........ okay fine, I was a pretty huge fan of Star Trek (but not an awkward "out-going" fan) .... well, except at a few parties, but that was different, right?

    *awkward*

anyway ... I was definitely a bit rattled when Spock died (he was certainly part of my up-bringing)

Steve, you'll be happy to know Spock is still alive in the hearts and minds of the young; last evening my 7-yr old grandson did the divided-finger deal and said "Live long and prosper."

You know, they could have tempted my money if it wasn't colorized, I really hate that "effect" but to each his own. I'm a huge Star Trek fan...work too much to see the latest film...

Anyway, that first coin - what an ear!

I'll toss some related coins at ya soon!

How about a Constantius/Phoenix mound and a Crispus and altar??

BTW: I confess, I've watched about EVERY show of the Star-Trek series about 50 times...:shy:
