I have two Quincunx one for Rome, one for Luceria with 5 pellets on them. Odd denom of 5/12 of an As or 5 Uncia from pre-denarii period. The Roman Quincunx is relatively scarce and hard to find (at least for me.)

yah, that baby is fricken awesome ... I need to know about AR examples (I guess I'll snoop-around tonight or tomorrow)
Really nice coins on this post, particularly the OP example. Here's the Tarentum owl, one of my favorite types: Calabria, Tarentum. Circa 302-281 BC. AR Drachm (15mm, 3.2gms) Ox: Helmeted head of Athena right Rx: Owl standing facing on branch.
Some go cheaply, Steve, and some are simply ridiculous. I've been trying to buy a nice Larissa drachm with the foal and mare reverse for awhile, but I think I will stop looking. CNG has offered several in their ongoing "Further selections from the BCD collection." This one was in today's auction, admittedly underestimated at $150, and it sold for $2,300!!
I'd love one of these too, but if even you can't get one, @ancientnut, I think my chances are close to nil.
Super posts everyone.....Great posts Steve!! Glad to have you back where you belong!!! Jeez, I seem to lack any with a Kantharos, Amphora or 'Jugs' Must be getting old, I can't seem to recall what I only bid on to what I actually won I do have a drunken Satyr
I don't have any Kantharos, jug or wife coins. But, I do have a symmetrical coin I haven't posted yet. Its not ancient, more medieval and rather odd. Which side is the obverse and which side is the reverse?
Hey ancientnut, one of these drachm's has just gone on sale on vcoins for $495, not bad, but no where as good as that one, might be worth a look https://images.vcoins.com/product_image/130/7/5/7QwbnDK46x5AzP3fX2kFDaC89T9sW5.jpg
Ummm, it wouldn't be too hard to track-down ... but I'm not that guy, plus I don't have a cent to my name at this coin-point
When the auction was first published I put that on the watch list. I'm generally not a huge fan of these facing-head Larissa drachms but the type deserves representation in my and many people's collections. This one was more appealing than most. The estimate did look absurdly low, but when I checked the day before closing and it was already up to $1600, I crossed it off the watch list. It's a beautiful coin and apparently at least two bidders found it extremely appealing.
