Welcome to Cointalk, @Imjustkk. I am about as old as the dirt in which they find these ancient coins!
I may not have gotten called but I did win, thanks to you @Kasia (and of course @Curtisimo !) Thanks, Jacob
Welcome to the Ancient's forum @Imjustkk . You won't find a better or more helpful group of people to hang out with anywhere IMO. If your newfound interest in coins leads you to the dark side (what they call ancient collecting ) we would love to see your new acquisitions . Well deserved IMHO due to your enthusiasm for the hobby.
Ah, yes, but you are the "Grand Dame" of CoinTalk. The Cointessa, no less. Age and wisdom have their perks as well as their quirks. If anyone quibbles at my anointing you the Grand Dame, remember that I am presently the only CT member with a "lordship". So that makes it terribly official, y'know.
Grand dame? Whaaat?!! @lordmarcovan. don't you think the title "Grand Dame" must be someone like @TIF or one of the other people of the female persuasion on CT with knowledge and grace? I don't presume such a thing. With all due respect, considering your high title and top hat and all, I must hereby communicate that I can not even try on such a title as Great Dame! I'm somewhat of a dame, but that's waaay different. More like this one (who your LaCointessa played when she was a teenager).
@TIF is High Priestess. That position requires arcane knowledge. Grand Dame is in the attitude. The poise, n'est çe pas?
I tell you what @lordmarcovan, if I ever think that mighty title fits me I will beg the administrators here to allow me to change my CT name from LaCointessa to "TheGrandDime" or something like that.
It has arrived! (Well actually last night but I waited to open it ) an amazing Valentinian that has a very welcome spot in my collection, thank you so much again to @Curtisimo tisimo and @Kasia for this! Thanks, Jacob
Sorry for the late response to this Jacob but I am glad to see you received the coin and that it arrived before Christmas Val will be happier in your collection I think
