    But but Steve, your ship has an awesome aplustria! I mean look at that thing! And the acrostolium isn't bad either. (Ha ha, Google them.)

    And next to the Pharos of Alexandria what more could you want than a Pharos of Messana on a coin?

    Aplustre, aka aphlaston - An ornament of wooden planks, which constituted the highest part of the stern of a ship. It rose immediately behind the gubernator, who held the rudder and guided the ship, and it served in some degree to protect him from the wind and the rain.

    Aplustria, or stern ornament.

    Acrostolium aka Akrostolion - The curved upward extension on the prow of the galley. An ornamental extension on the prow of an ancient warship.
