Curious as to the age demographics of the ancients forum. I'm in the 21-30 year old group (I'm 24). To keep it coin-relevant, I'll also post a ruler who ascended to the throne at about my same age. Theodoric was 21 when he became king of the Ostrogoths in 475 AD. Anastasius/Theodoric, Ostrogothic Kingdom AR Quarter-Siliqua Obv: DN ANASTASI[VS PP] AVG, pearl-diademed, draped bust right Rev: INVICTA-A RO[MA], monogram of Theodoric surrounded by legend, legend separated by cross above, O below Mint: Rome (struck 491-518 AD) Ref: BMC 74 ff
35. I feel older at work, but idk if thats because all the running around and heavy lifting, that or the fact that the people I hang out with at work are 100 years old.
I hit the 'magical' 65 years of age level a few months ago...and so I think I may have to post a Nerva coin.....Jeez, I hope my 'reign' lasts a bit longer than his LOL Not my coin, but one I recently lost at auction....
68 and loving it! There are now TWO jokers who checked "101 or older"... It's how old you ARE, not how old you FEEL!
32 I should be Pharaoh of Egypt, King of Macedon and Master of Asia, but NOOOO.....everyone wanted to turn back at the first toll plaza on the Garden State Parkway....cowards!
