The Baltimore show also produced these three coins I found appealing. Of the three my favorite is this Crispus from Rome with Roma reverse and the script Eros mintmark which I have described online recently enough used on other coins. It is much less common on the Roma Aeternae reverse. I am trying to get the set on these (two reverses each for five rulers) but have not seen even half of them so far. This is the nicest one I have from the series. I paid too much from a dealer whose coins are too good for me. This was the last coin I bought before leaving the show. I know that I would have regretted leaving it. I am already having buyer's remorse about a few of the coins I got at Baltimore but not about this one. If I were to rewrite that thread from the other place about my favorite 25 coins, this would make the list.

Second is a Constantine I from Ticinum with Mars the Conservator reverse. It would have been better if the reverse were centered better but it is not a common coin and the price was right.

Lowest grade of this set of three is one some might prefer because it is a less common ruler, Allectus. It was affordable because of the obverse roughness but it has decent detail and a common but stronger than usual reverse. This is only my second Allectus so I am very glad to have it.

These three coins and yesterday's pair of Faustas would have made the trip to the show worthwhile to me but there are a few more for another post, another day. It was a very good show. I went to the show hoping to find a few specific items and did not see any of them. Being a general collector and keeping an open mind usually allows returning with many treasures and no cash.
