The prize will be a numismatic book provided by me. I will choose the book as appropriately as possible based on who the winner is. We will crown our Scholar at the beginning of December 2019. Here is a summary of the process and rules.

If you see a thread you think deserves recognition, post the link to the thread here. The only guidelines for eligible threads are:

The thread must have been posted in 2019.
The thread should contain ancient (or medieval) numismatic content and be of educational value.

In late November I will narrow down the number of threads, get permission from the thread authors to enter their threads for consideration and post a poll for the community to help determine the winner.
In early December I will name our 2019 Scholar and provide him / her with a numismatic book to show the appreciation of the board.
Simple as that! Let's not Forget the Educational Posts Either! In addition to the award mentioned above I wish to recognize our members who take their time to answer questions and post educational content to other members threads. If you see a post you think is worthy of recognition please post the link to this thread. When we announce our 2019 Scholar I will also select a member to receive a prize coin (TBD). Below is the process you use to post a link to a specific post in case you didn't know it.

Click on the post number of the post you want a link to.

The below pop up will appear. Copy the link shown in the top text box. Past this into this thread along with whose post it was (to help me make sure I have the right one).
Here's to a fun 2019!
