Yah, I was quite amazed when I first saw this coin ... how simple and how cool, eh?

=> then when I noticed that this lil' winner is a mere 6 mm I was even more impressed!! (that's pretty symmetric and fairly well-maintained for such a small 2,500 year old coin)

The estimate was $100 .... but cha-chinnng, luckily nobody else saw its beauty, so I scored it for $60 ...

=> I'm lovin' it!! ... I hope that a few of you dudes see its beauty as well ... enjoy!!

When it arrives, dont drop it, otherwise it will blend in with the dust bunnies.

Cool addition. I dont have any microscopic coins to share :/

Yeah, I second that advice, based on personal experience. I eventually found my lost tritatemorion, and it hasn't come out of its flip since.

Thanks for the advice/warnings, brothers ...

I hear ya => this other lil' recent sweetie of mine is 5mm x 8mm ... oh, and I made sure that the area was isolated as the coin made it from the flip into its permanent home, in one of my 10 ancient-albums ...

=> yah, it's kinda funny, because I seem to like coins on the "extremes" ... I like 'em super-tiny and I like the nice ol' pond-skippers as well!!

.... oh, ummm ... and I like all of the other sizes as well (I just seem to love coins, in general)

I don't know if I have posted before my current housing for my 75 smallest coins. These trays of tubs (1.5" diameter, 36 per box) come with foam packing and a glass topped cardboard box. These can be dropped without opening and found on the rug but you have to open them to see the other side of the coin. I also keep my Akragas tooth in one of these just because it is too thick to keep in other options I have tried. These are not round slabs! The tops come off and go on again as I wish.

that's a wonderful little coin stevex. considering the oval shape, is it 6mm at its widest or narrowest?...or maybe you wont know until you get it?
