Nero would not even make my top ten worst emperor list. Remember, for a long time fake Nero's would pop up across the empire. If he was viewed at the time as a bad ruler, why would so many wish to believe he was still alive?

Although I like to think that I look like Zeus, my fellow coin comrades are probably correct that I look a bit more like J-Caesar ...

Actually, with those sunglasses, you look a little like David Letterman's band leader, Paul Schaffer.

=> yah, it's really kinda funny, because it's the exact same result when compared against a previous thread from another "far inferior coin-forum" ...

=> most/90% of the coin collectors were all "boo-boo shy" to post their own photos and actually make an attempt at finding a Ruler that kinda looked like themselves ... get over it ... man-up and grow some coin-nuts!!

Hypothesis => sadly, coin collectors have a fairly low self-image and don't want others to actually know how "less-than-average" they really are ... hmmmm wow, there is definitely a doctorate-paper in there for a coin-collector/psych-major, eh? ...

anyway => all jokin' aside => in "my" opinion => it is always really cool, and "great" for coin-comradery when we post photos (reality) and become better "friends"

anyway => so, we were asked => "which ancient personality do you most look like"


Hmmmm, *rats* => in hind-sight, when I re-read the "post-thread", I think that I am in stiff-competition with "scottishmoney" for being nominated => most likely to be an ancestor of "PAN" ... ummm, but for now, I'll stick to JC!!?

 

I already posted a photo of myself awhile back and it was agreed that I look like the Hollywood version of Commodus. lol

 

And you do. I also posted an image of myself and it was agreed I look something like Galba, but I don't think so. So, here are my pics with a side-by-side with Galba, and you tell me. Again, I do not see the resemblance:

JA, I'm not very good at matching faces to Rulers, but I did come-up with a couple of possibilities ...



=> Zeus and/or the Bull-guy? ... yah, I admit that they're both pretty weak (hopefully Bing or somebody else will be able to find a JA look alike?)

NOTE => I am always surprised to find out what people actually look like ... it's a bit like reading a book and imagining what each of the characters look like and then seeing the movie-version of the book and being totally surprised ...
