For those not familiar with byzantine coins much, this is a nice example of the type. i did have one of these, but this one is a substantial upgrade that i'm delighted to have. here is my old one..

    Cool gifts, chrsmat (congrats)

Ummm, are we supposed to fess-up if we know our Secret Santas, or is that a guessing game when things are finished, or what? (I know my secret Santa and my Santee knows that it was me!!)

I don't think so but if I was I should be getting coal, but regs stipulate it has to be No. 2 Fuel Oil with a Sulfur content of less than 500 ppm, but if you can prove the flash point is above 149F than you dont have to ship hazardous. :bookworm:

Couldn't wait any longer. Was greeted with this very nice Byzantine trachy ("cup-coin") of Emperor Alexios III.

Been looking around for a good example to be my second trachy in my collection and this fits the bill perfectly. Only minor complaint is that my SS didn't write me Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays, but this probably happens often with online Secret Santa exchanges.
    Thanks for the coin SS.

Your SS bought that from me and instructed me to send it to you directly, so the lack of festive greetings is my fault!

I was actually surprised that mail gets to your igloo so quickly. They must have some fast dogs up there.

It looks like my SS gift was delivered to the office yesterday but we were closed. Someone must've been there to receive it. I'll get it on Monday, yippeee! I don't know if my recipient has received his coin yet. The package isn't trackable. I hope it makes it there before D-day o_O.

And ones that track real well, like, how's a mailman supposed to find Steve in all of this?
