I picked up this coin about 2 months ago on ebay. I'm kinda new to con collecting and had been relying on the interwebs for values when picking up US coins, but have recently been really intrigued by ancient coins so decided to pick up this one. It's in mediocre condition, not great. But you can see the big laureated head of Maximianus Herculius and some detail on the back. But I'm curious what is a decent value of this coin? It's about the diameter of a quarter but obviously a bit thicker.
You need to ask a moderator like @chrisild to move this to the Ancients forum and you will get some good info.
What Mat said. Not super valuable, but not too bad for ten bucks, either. Nice affordable piece of ancient history.
I know. Thought it was a funny coincidence, though. At least you share a name with a very talented individual.
