I need to learn more about the coins first. </p><p><br /></p><p>The opportunity to write a <a href="https://www.cointalk.com/threads/animals-on-coins-history-of-dates-on-coins.288406/#post-2602493" class="internalLink ProxyLink" data-proxy-href="https://www.cointalk.com/threads/animals-on-coins-history-of-dates-on-coins.288406/#post-2602493"><span style="color: #0000ff">couple of articles relating to ancient coins</span></a> surfaced and I couldn&#039;t turn it down, despite my lack of knowledge when it comes to ancient coins. </p><p><br /></p><p>My initial focus was only on coins of Constantine the Great and his sons, but as I progress with the articles - at crawling speed - my interest in other coins gets peaked more and more, including the Roman Eagles. </p><p><br /></p><p>So given my lack of knowledge, which I humbly admit, I&#039;ve decided to learn more about ancient coins from the best - the good folks here at CT such as yourself. <img src="styles/default/xenforo/clear.png" class="mceSmilieSprite mceSmilie2" alt=";)" unselectable="on" unselectable="on" /></p><p><br /></p><p>P.S. My library of books relating to ancient coins only include the <i>Handbook of Ancient Greek &amp; Roman Coins</i> by Zander H. Klawans and <i>Money of the Bible</i> by Kenneth Bressett at this stage. I am hoping to expand it, but it is not easy - given the distance and cost involved.
