Is this a genuine coin? Bought a collection mostly recent US but this was in the collection. I did not buy until I know if it is genuine and what should I pay. Thanks Roman coin obverse.jpg Roman coin reverse.jpg

I don't see anything wrong with it.

I think its pretty close to this one from my collection. The biggest difference I can see is that mine has a "S" and "F" in the reverse fields. Check around Rome RIC VII 33P for more information on the coin.

I'm too much of a newbie with ancients to even think about speaking on the value, but mine wasn't that expensive. If you're new to ancients you may be pleasantly surprised at how inexpensive they can be.

Notice "chlamys hanging behind, standing left, raising right hand and holding whip in left hand". There may be a faint one under the left arm. Be careful if you try to clean that area.

Constantine holding a whip and globe, made of bronze? Will the green come off if soaked in water. How much should I pay to purchase the coin>

Looks pretty nice. If you can get it for $10 that’s a decent deal

I knew this coin looked familiar. I found your twin in my collection!
