It would be nice, just once to have an article in the common press that was more informative than sensational. The author says the coins were hidden to protect them from barbarians. Hiding in the sea is an interesting choice. How he decided that they were not from a shipwreck I do not know. Note at the end is a News Poll which I take to suggest that things over a hundred years old are somehow special. I do not suggest sending them your information.
