    chrsmat71 I LIKE TURTLES!

man, i don't know AN..i'm just starting to get half way comfortable with the northern song coins. i really like that third coin.
the second one looks "western han"ish....but i don't know if that the same as "warring stages" or not?

gsx and manymore are pros at these thing, and med is at least semi-pro...they should be able to help you out.

i'm a bench warmer on the jv team.

The first ban liang is the earliest of course. Qin to warring states period. Size is important on these, and weight, with larger, heavier coins typically earlier. Yours is a later in this period. I have some up to 40mm. The second I would say western Han more likely. I would agree with the Wang Mang and probably the goose eye, but they came even smaller. I bought one from Jen at CICF about eight mm. Yours is too dark to really tell.

Btw, Bob Reis used to have a link to an article written by Tye on Wang Mang. Terrifically interesting personality, he was simply a politician 2000 years ahead of his time. The stuff that got him executed would be considered common practice today.

Btw AN, Hartill is only $45. If you are somewhat interested in Chinese cash, its a terrific purchase.
