Q's sharp Fausta from Trier has the reverse legend Spes Reipublicae while mine is London and reads Salus Reipublicae. Both have the same two babies in arms figure. The dealer that provided mine had two London coins. Mine was the cheaper of the two and struck unevenly leaving a very weak mintmark (PLON) and a flat spot in the hair on the obverse. The other one had a bold mintmark and hair but was proportionally flat in the bust drapery detail and had no detail at all in the head of the reverse figure. His asking price was four times what he was asking for mine. I chose the cheaper one with facial details on the reverse. There are many people who want that London mintmark. Mine is definitely London but I was amazed at the difference. Siscia, Heracleia and Cyzicus seemed better able to strike evenly than London was. All three were Spes.

Aelia Eudoxia AE4 Alexandria RIC 84 page 248 volume X This Eudoxia (wife of Arcadius) was part of the group I got in trade Friday at the coin show. When I got home I was disappointed to learn that the hand of God should appear on both sides over the head of the empress but is off flan on my reverse. It is still a decent coin but would be nicer with the reverse hand.
Mine was $8 total: Eudoxia (400 - 404 A.D.) Æ3 O: AEL EVDOXIA AVG, pearl-diademed and draped bust right, crowned with wreath by the Hand of God above. R: GLORIA ROMANORVM, empress seated facing on throne, hands folded, being crowned by manus Dei, cross right. SMKA in exergue. Cyzicus (Kapu Dagh, Turkey) Mint 2.1g 18mm RIC 80, LRBC 2450
I'm back from my yard work----and exhausted!! Fantastic posts guys!!! 'Q', I'm with WDF----I don't believe I've ever seen that Fausta reverse before either. My last one before I go off line: Eudoxia...

Well I'm breathless, truly did not realize how many ladies were out there, I'm serious, I had notions of having one of all of them. AMAZING and BEATIFUL. I thank you all for the female history trip.
Here are a few hotties for ya ... Julia Mamaea Aelia Eudoxia Crispina Faustina II Faustina Senior Galeria Valeria Julia Domna Otacila Severa

Lol, you'd probably do him a favor. And I guess mine would be Lucilla & Crispina. Commodus probably wouldn't have given a sh**.
Terrific selection Q....you and the well-known ladies collectors, not to mention Steve, have quite a lovely group of the girls.... I love your Julia Titi denarius---I've been trying to score one like that for months!! Don't recall if I posted this denarius of Sabina yet?? Hmmm, that's quite an 'ample posterior' on Venus----LOL
It should be noted that there are a couple of rare Fausta types. Rare... Extremely rare... I have neither, but they are on my LRB wish list. I do have a respectable follis of Helena...
My favorite: JULIA DOMNA AR Denarius OBVERSE: IVLIA DOMNA AVG, draped bust right REVERSE: VENERI VICTR, Venus standing right, naked to waist, leaning on column to left, holding palm and apple Struck at Rome, 194 AD 2.5g, 17mm RIC 536
