    The dealer also had it listed as Zeymal p.257, T. 30, 31, but I am not sure what Zeymal is.

    This coin is listed on Zeno as #48442.

    This isn`t a common piece either...


    I can`t find out the date...

    I forgot to ask if anyone could read the date...

    This was minted by the third Sassanid ruler, and the information on when he ruled changes depending on the source.

    Nice coin. Hormizd I was Shah of Persia in 272/3 AD. He ruled for one year. Youngest son of Shapur I. He inherited the defeated Kushan empire, where he took the title "Kushan-shah".

    interesting to see one of the style that isn't silver, i assmue it's bronze (or bilon maybe even)?

    This is from the son of the guy who wiped out the Kushan rulers and subjugated the Kushans.
